Vincente Minnelli (1910–1986)

 Vincente Minnelli (1910–1986) was an American director.

He was born on February 28, 1910, in Chicago, Illinois (United States), into a family of traveling actors. In 1945, he married Judy Garland, but the union ended in 1951. They were the parents of the actress who would later become known as Liza Minnelli. He later married Georgette Magnani, and finally, the journalist Lee Anderson. In 1974, he published his memoirs under the title *I Remember It Well*. Vincente Minnelli passed away in his sleep on July 25, 1986, at his home in Beverly Hills, California. He had been suffering from a serious respiratory illness.
